As for Castro’s fashion show, for the one by Golf, I wanted to dress up to look pretty and stylish, but also relatively comfortable – so I carry the look through the day.
I matched a circle mini-skirt, an old friend which is very much back on trend, with a perforated leather and Lycra shirt. To avoid the unfortunate ‘triangular’ effect (a wide bottom, shoulders and head), I used this familiar orange leather jacket – its straight lines balance the skirt’s flair. I really like it, since I noticed that the strong orange color not only attracts attention (you got to stand out, right?), but also puts a smile – on mine and other people’s faces.
I completed the look with black suede platform boots – I can’t walk around in high heels all day, and these boots add height, look elegant and manage to be comfortable at the same time
Another color burst – the royal blue bag, complimenting the orange and creating more interest. I always finish off with big sunglasses, to add some drama, and red lipstick that ties everything together
On my face, it serves as a colorful contrast to the dark glasses, and on a whole – as a sexy, feminine element to downplay the childishness of the skirt.
Do you approve? I’d love to hear about it!
