The wedding is at the Maldives, the solution is in the closet

So, what do you wear to an event? Who isn’t familiar with this question? The answer depends on a number of factors: the type of the event, the location, who’s invited and much more. So what do you really wear to a wedding at the Maldives? When I was invited by my friends to this unique wedding half a year ago, it sounded too far to think about it. But like always, time goes by fast, and a week before the trip I realized I still don’t know what to wear.
After a round at all the possible stores in Tel Aviv, I finally found an answer…. In my closet! This dress, made out of silk, fits the event from every aspect – it’s light, thin and open in the back (witch helped with the location’s hot humid weather). Thanks to the unique cut and the mix of orange, red and pink, it looks like a blaze of fire and stands out in every scenery  – even as breathtaking as this one. On the other hand… it doesn’t compete with the bride’s dress.
For a color this strong, you can only choose neutral accessories. So I choose bronze shoes which look great on the leg, and a silver bag that corresponds with the flower on the dress.

Pearl earrings, which again highlight the red and light up the face,  and I’m ready. And though it’s not a new dress, that’s what they say : “new is the old that’s been forgotten”.  And as for the wedding itself, the bride’s amazing dress and all the guests, I’ll tell you  soon.
Yours,
LJ
